my brother has a gig on the 10th of September, 2005 (that's a saturday) at Rack's El Pueblo near The Podium. it's actually the elimination round for the Nescafé sound school (we're praying that they'd win). to vote for their band, please (please please) key in SS VOTE ENG PLUS 1 and send to 2929 (for Globe and Smart subscribers only).

window of opportunity
every "window of opportunity" session that we have with panda-sensei is interesting, but this one was also amusing as hell. there was this part where we somehow got on name origins. it seems that his first name (Allan) means "most cheerful and handsome" and his second name means (Roi) "prince/king". put those together... ROFL.
panda-sensei: alright, remove the handsome part. it's not good to be perfect.

26th international book fair
our club went to the book fair last Friday. for once, i actually bought a book (as compared to the previous years when i just sighed and stared at the books that i couldn't afford). i bought The Wish List by Eoin Colfer (i just finished reading it this morning) and Serna bought me a copy of American Gods by Neil Gaiman(!!!).
